Another first for Cressi in the field of masks. Ocean Eyes, extensively covered by patents, takes advantage of all the most concepts introduced in advance by the Cressi masks: raked, inverted drop lenses, very small inner volume, extremely good downward vision and fantastic comfort.Furthermore, Ocean Eyes incorporates a brand new quick-release dismantling system for the lenses, which can be replaced with prescription lenses to correct visual defects. You only need a few moments and three simple operations to assemble your tailored prescription lens mask.The adjustment buckles on the strap are attached to the frame with a new (and patented) part made from flexible elastomer, which prevents the buckles or the actual frame from breaking so you can adjust the strap instantly with just a simple pressure from a finger. This system also prevents the skirt from being deformed, a possibility on models that incorporate the strap buckle in the actual skirt. Another pleasant addition is the possibility of instantly replacing the whole strap and buckle combination for rapid on-the-spot replacement, or to choose your favourite colour combination.

The Cressi patented raked lenses with “inverted teardrop” shape is continued; this concept is now an absolute must in order to obtain extraordinary downward vision, which allows the diver to see all equipment worn at any time during the dive.
Like for the Matrix, the lenses have been brought even closer to the eyes compared to the original design of Big Eyes, with a further increase in visibility, which reaches incredible values.
The newly designed frame, combined with a strong-grip rubber material, is of minimum thickness and is invisible all round the bottom of the mask.
It extends sideways towards the buckle of the strap with a transparent and shiny surface, made from a very new material that is a lot more transparent than glass and polycarbonate, but even tougher and more scratch resistant than the latter, which increases side vision and allows light to enter into the mask.
The new design allergy-free silicon skirt comes with an internal seal ring so it fits perfectly and very comfortably on the face. It has an excellent seal for a wide variety of face shapes, including women and young people. Even though it is a four-lens mask, the internal volume is so reduced that it is even lower than many free diving masks.
The strap buckles are the same as the ones on Matrix and Lince, integrated into the frame to make strap adjustment quick and easy just by the simple pressure of a finger.
The result of all this technology is a very low volume mask, with visibility and luminosity that has never before been achieved in a scuba-diving mask.

A new version of the Piuma, made using new, extraordinary, Crystal Clear silicone.
This material offers a level of transparency that has never been seen before in the production of scuba diving masks.
Although it still maintains the hypo-allergenic characteristics of the silicones used previously, Crystal Clear is so transparent that it is virtually invisible once the mask has been put on.
In addition to the extraordinary transparency, this silicone boasts exceptional resistance to ageing and yellowing over time that is far greater than that of traditional silicones.
Even the tendency to mist up is lower than with traditional silicone materials.
The seal on the skirt has an original angle and offers comfort that has been unheard of up until now on a scuba diving mask, even after prolonged use.
The special two-tone headband is made with a double injection system that allows a flexible elastomer element to be integrated into the structure.
The buckles, that tilt sideways, are incorporated into the headband structure and, thanks to the elastomer element, are indestructible, even if completely flattened.
The strap can be adjusted quickly and precisely, even when wearing thick protective gloves.
The internal volume of the Piuma is sensibly reduced.
Who it is for
Piuma, thanks to its wide field of vision, exceptional transparency and comfortable skirt, is the perfect mask for swimming, snorkelling and scuba diving.
The minimum internal volume allows it to be used for free diving too.
