The Moonlight 10W, the evolution of Omersub Moonlight flashlight, combines all the advantages of a small plastic diving light with the illuminating power of aluminum torches. The ABS plastic body is in fact the same as the one featured on the standard Moonlight.
Because of the strong power and heat generated by the 10W bulb, the head and the reflector are manufactured in aluminum and the lens is made in glass. The glass is locked to the aluminum head through a metal gear. The maxiThe torch is powered by 6 NiMh 1,2V 1300mA size AA rechargeable batteries, included in the price. The bulb is a 10W Xenophot, generating a white and powerful 12W beam, lasting over 35 minutes.
The power is controlled by a PCB board inserted, inside the plastic body, under the switch. This circuit also prevents the inversion of polarity and the creation of dangerous gases, inside the body.
The magnetic switch features a removable spring to recall the switch in the off position, allowing the torch to be operated with just one hand. The torch can be easily carried in the water thanks to its polyurethane strap.
The Rechargeable Moonlight 10W features a PCB controlled quick battery charger which turns itself automatically off, when batteries are fully loaded. Because the charger charges batteries in line, it is very important that all six batteries are always inserted and charged at the same time.
The Moonlight 10W can also operate with standard non rechargeable AA alkaline batteries. In this case, the batteries will last over 50 minutes. |
