ELLIPSE ALASKA MC8 This model has been designed mainly for use in cold water
The MC8 diaphragm first stage comes with the standard issue antifreeze kit and the second stage is identical to the one used in the Ellipse Titanium.
The first stage of the Ellipse Alaska is the already famous and excellent Cressi MC8 model balanced diaphragm. It comes with the antifreeze kit, which provides an additional waterproof chamber, to screw onto the end of the first stage. This chamber ends with a silicon diaphragm on the outside that seals off the inside from contact with water, while still transmitting any pressure variation to the inner organs, thanks to the flexibility of the material.
The antifreeze kit is composed of two main parts, both made from strong chrome-plated brass. There is a mushroom element inside, made from acetylic resin, which connects the external diaphragm to the internal one.
The use of the antifreeze kit completely eliminates any water seepage into the external part of the first stage, so not only does it prevent the formation of ice in this area, but it also prevents the formation of deposits and incrustations on the diaphragm and on the spring.
This provides considerable advantages for divers working in mineral-rich water or with lots of suspension (archaeological sites, port works, caving etc.)
LINCE The Lince mask follows on a few months after the presentation of the Matrix on the market, a mask that immediately won the hearts of enthusiasts with its extraordinary features.
The Lince copies the revolutionary concepts developed over the past few years by the experts at Cressi in the sector of masks, introduced for the first time with Big Eyes, concepts that have marked new points of reference in the sector.
For the main part these principles concern the exceptional intuition of the raked lenses of a given angle to the skirt surface, considerably increasing the downward field of vision. Naturally, although this is a revolutionary concept, it is not enough to guarantee maximum visibility if it is not combined with a special geometry of the lenses themselves, which must have an elongated downward shape, special dimensional relations, be matched to a very slim frame and shaped so as to be invisible when wearing the mask.
The Lince introduces a new supremacy in the sector, for the first time applying these principles to a very small-size mask.
The result is surprising in that the Lince is the first mask in the world with a very small internal volume, even smaller than the legendary Cressi Superocchio (a specific mask for deep-sea scuba diving), while having all the exceptional features of the Matrix, in terms of visibility.
Basically, the Lince can be considered a “younger sister” of the Matrix, which it copies the main features from, also very suitable for deep-sea diving.

KIT MATRIX Diving set, contains Matrix Mask and Gamma snorkel. It is a high quality set, for the most demanding users.
OCCHIO PLUS The extremely small inner volume, the minimum lens-eye distance and the special patented rakes lenses all convert into the best field of vision in the entire range of Cressi masks.
And even with these exclusive features, the new skirt made from allergy-free silicon suits a large number of face types.
Technical specifications
The special double-injection moulding procedure of the mask frame makes it possible to obtain an extremely light structure in composite materials.
The new buckles tilt vertically and sideways, and are fitted with clips for disassembly.
The buckles are incorporated into the frame structure and a flexible elastomer element makes them indestructible.
Strap adjustment is quick and precise, even when wearing thick protective gloves.
The lenses have a special, patented raking angle that gives them an exceptionally wide field of vision, particularly downwards.

Who it’s for

The small internal volume makes the mask perfect for deep-sea free diving, for spearfishing, and for more demanding descents, but can also be used optimally for scuba diving or as a spare mask thanks to the side tilting mechanism of the buckles and the minimum volume it occupies once it is placed inside the jacket pocket.
ONDINA Smaller version of the Onda mask, suitable for women and young people. This mask has a single lens, and is designed for snorkelling, swimming and scuba diving. The skirt is made from soft hypoallergenic transparent silicone. The visibility provided by the single lens and the unusual shape of the frame extends in all directions. Excellent seal on many face types, small internal volume. Quick-release strap buckles
