These two Renzo Valdieri "Marsico" rods are very similar and very different at the same time. Both models feature Fuji Alconite CMNAG guides and Fuji FS-7 reel seat. The 400 model, with a total length of 3.95 m is a rod of top action (7+1) guides, 450 g weight, but mostly extremely fast. The 420 version, features the same as the 400 model and has the particularity of its hybrid cap, so it is a completely top action rod.
Both versions, except for this difference, match up to some features that make them different of the rest. The main difference is the base diameter: only 19 mm; probably the slimmest spinning rod. Supplied with a rigid tube case for transport.
