A fin of new conception in terms of materials and design but that enjoys the exclusive characteristics of the Cressi diving fins maintaining the spirit of the legendary Frog.
FROG PLUS is manufactured in a new variant of low-modulus polypropylene that, combined with a particular structure, combines great flexibility, softness and resistance to a demanding use (inclusive as a rental flap and school in a diving center), durability and an unprecedented aesthetics in fins projected with this philosophy. Frog Plus is the authentic 4x4 of the Cressi fins.

materials
The combination of 3 different materials guarantees the optimization of the requirements of each area of the fin without the need to increase thicknesses:
Main body of polypropylene: a material inherited from the apnea that has as main characteristic the very fast transmission of the applied energy. It is applied to the shovel and inner area of the sole sandwich. He is very nervous and reactive and facilitates a very agile flutter and a vertiginous advance. It has a stress / performance ratio significantly higher than rubber (natural or thermoplastic), polyurethane, E.V.A. and only surpassed by carbon. Likewise, it has a great resistance to breakage to the point that Cressi guarantees it for life for sporting use.

Flexible elastomer: It is applied to the foot pocket and the areas that require flexibility and elasticity, since they influence the comfort of the diver, toe of the foot pocket, interior of the sole and area of the instep in contact with the ankle. The fusion of both materials is performed at the molecular level and its strength is guaranteed for life for sports use.

Compact elastomer: Flexible but not elastic. It is applied to areas that require a gummy composition, non-slip but firm and of great resistance, longitudinal nerves, sole of the foot pocket and band of support of the foot (located in the middle area of the instep). It is also assigned to the areas that require non-slip capacity, inserts in the sole (area in contact with the ground) and anti-shock, such as the perimeter reinforcements of the blade.

Technical characteristics
The structure, studied for this new variant of the base material of the blade, aims to combine a great solidity with a good channeling of the water, protection of the lateral nerves and a soft tip for a comfortable flapping and less erosion action due to accidental contacts with the background. It also uses several technologies common to the other Cressi models.

Design "shoe under the blade": the blade is born directly from the top of the foot pocket, solidly joining the fin to the foot and transmitting all the effort generated by flapping without loss of energy through soft areas. This format allows water to be channeled from the same ankle to the final edge of the blade, unlike traditional models, in which the foot pocket has no contribution to the advance. In addition to better the directionality of the flapping, this design provides a performance between 10% and 15% higher than those that would correspond to the fin for its blade surface.

Thickness of the blade of decreasing profile for better directionality of the flutter and get a greater inertia of the final part of the fin.

Foot pocket reinforced in the upper area by a supplementary thickness and laterally by two extensions of polypropylene from the upper to avoid the dispersion of energy in the process of transmission from the foot to the upper. Its three long volumes fit the foot comfortably but firmly optimizing the use of effort.

360º pivoting buckles, with insertion in the bayonet pocket that makes the accidental loss of the female part impossible. As an option, the spring strips (AISI 316 steel) are available with buckles identical to the standard version but reinforced with a stainless steel pin.
