The fin structure places the shoe at mid-height of the blade so that the transmission of the force is effective, with a progressive flutter and pleasant for the swimmer. It also reduces the hydrodynamic resistance of the upper part of the shoe. The plant has a rigidity calculated to avoid cramps in the sole of the foot. The back of the shoe is thicker, reinforcing it, and has a tongue that facilitates its placement. All profiles in contact with the skin are rounded, for greater comfort.

Short water combines three different materials in its structure:

Polypropylene for the shovel and the area of the sole. This material stands out for its great lightness and resistance to saltpeter, chlorine and ozone. It is unalterable over time and maintains its performance given its great resistance. It is completely unbreakable, either by bending or twisting in any direction.

Reinforced elastomer rounded in the lower profile of the blade. It prevents erosion wear due to friction and protects other swimmers from occasional impacts.

Very soft and comfortable elastomer (thermoplastic rubber). It is applied to the upper area of the shoe and lateral stabilizing nerves of the flipper during swimming.

The instep incorporates in its center a band of 2cms of amplitude "Self adjusting", that allows a slight dilation (2 to 4mm according to size) to adapt to people with high instep. The expansion has been meticulously calibrated to avoid damaging the energy transmission.

Water short enjoys all the experience Cressi-sub as manufacturer of fins for diving and apnea since 1946 in: anatomy of the shoes, materials, design and production. All these processes are carried out 100% in the factory Cressi-sub of Genoa (Italy).

The proportions of the Cressi-sub base form, which constantly evolves to adapt to the morphological variations that footwear habits have caused in the average proportions of European foot (almost 20% in the last 30 years).

For traders located on the coastline, the option of a high resistance short fin is also especially interesting as aids to travel and protection for light snorkeling, especially in rocky areas.
